We would like Bunkasai Club events to be friendly and fun occasions for everyone. On that basis, there are a few basic guidelines we apply to our events that ensure all attendees have a good time.
- Our events are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, age, disability, race, ethnicity or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of attendees in any form. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed or have any other concerns, please contact the event organiser immediately. You can also contact us discreetly via the links below.
- Please be respectful of other people at Bunkasai Club events and try to keep conversations to a reasonable noise level.
It would be appreciated if people could avoid trying to group all the tables together to form one large table at events. Some attendees like their own space and it’s also a little intimidating for newcomers faced with a large single group in a room.
- Bunkasai Club is affiliated with Aid For Japan (http://www.aidforjapan.co.uk/), a charity set up in 2011 to support the orphans of the tragic earthquake/tsunami that struck Japan that year. We ask that attendees of Bunkasai Club events donate to the charity with a minimum contribution of £1 per event, which is obligatory and a small price to pay for the use of our space. We have red collection boxes at the entrance for this purpose.
While we like to keep Bunkasai Club as a friendly and informal event, we do ask that you be mindful of these guidelines. You can raise any queries with us via the following links:
